Facebook is introducing new social features to the social media platform this week, including an updated timeline that will let users see what other people are posting about them and how they’re being received.
In addition to the Timeline, the company is also introducing a new News Feed, which will display all the posts that have been shared on the site, including photos and videos, as well as a new timeline of popular hashtags.
Here’s what you need to know about the new Timeline.
The Timeline update is now live in the U.S. The update will automatically populate the Timeline when you log in to Facebook.
If you don’t want to manually populate it, you can select a date range for it to appear in the app.
The new Timeline will be available for the following regions: Canada and United Kingdom United States Germany Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States.
Facebook has said that the timeline will not be available in all countries at the same time.
